I have found that taking a different approach to reading helps students understand certain concepts, using ART helps to transfer my student's understanding into creativity. Students learn by doing, so by having them do a "project" or get "creative" with a lesson will help them remember objectives, concepts and lessons much longer than just a lecture. The Crayola markers, Crayola colored pencils, Blick Sulphite Drawing paper and Spectra Glitter assortment will help make these projects unique. This also gives them time to collaborate with others and learn from their peers as well. These materials will greatly enhance the learning in my classroom!
