I would like to provide my students notebooks in which they can keep their daily journals. I believe that it is important that the students have a time and place to write down their thoughts and ideas. Clear and effective writing is an essential skill for students and unfortunately, it is one that many of my students struggle with. I am hoping to combat this with daily journal writing. I would like to give each student two notebooks, one for the classroom and one to take home. In this way, the students will be able to practice their writing at home, as well as in class.
