I love to create lessons that integrate art with topics like reading, language, social studies, math, and science. I have been supplementing my instruction out of my own pockets and would be grateful to have a designated stock of art supplies for my students. Integrating visual creative expression into the core subject material of fourth grade gives my students the intrinsic motivation to participate deeper in the curriculum. I want them to paint vivid scenes related to their descriptive writing. They will be able to draw maps and diagrams of our social studies concepts. Art integration enriches and personalizes learning for all students!
