Through gaining access to high quality magazines like Scholastic News my fourth graders will be able to gain knowledge through text and build their background knowledge. There is power in knowledge, and knowledge is found in the text! A classroom magazine subscription will be a great addition to our classroom. Current events are something all students should be aware of. Each student will have access to a copy of the magazine to leisurely enjoy reading, as well as making annotations. Please find it in your heart to help fund this literacy project. Our motto in class is: "Reading Is Thinking."

About my class
