When doing centers these supplemental resources will allow students to get hands-on use with flashcards and games that align with state standards. The resources like Hot Dots are paced at appropriate levels and help with independent learning. For example, the math Hot Dots has lessons from place value and math facts to telling time and identifying money values. These kinds of resources will help raise student achievement and give them even more incentives to help them take in necessary information.
