My students deserve to come into a safe, loving, and inviting classroom. The materials on my list include items such as yoga mats, invidial mailboxes etc. I feel as if these items will help students create a sense of ownership of their classroom. I work at a title one school where all children receive free breakfast and lunch. School supplies and decorations for the classroom are items that they shouldn’t have to worry about providing. I want to always do right by my students. I feel as if these items are just a start to helping me make that statement a reality.
