Moving into a new kindergarten room, I have a clear vision of how to set up my classroom to help my students be successful. I just need your help to get us there. The amazing furniture that I am asking for will help me complete this vision for a successful, organized, and safe classroom. These 4 coat locker cubbies will be the "home" for students personal belongings. They will be in the back of the classroom by the main entrance for students to access as they first are welcomed to school each and every day. Funding this project will help students learn about responsibility, organization, and how to care for their personal items which is a life skill they will take with them. The donations from this project will help students improve responsibility and organization of the classroom each and every day. As the school day begins students will start off by finding their personal locker to store all their personal items. They will keep their personal items in these lockers such as their backpacks, lunches, snacks, homework folders, sweaters and so much more. They will end each day by collecting all their personal items to take home again. By doing this routine daily students will gain responsibility, organizational skills and help create a safe classroom.By having these personal lockers in the classroom students will begin practicing the skills they will continue to use throughout their years in school. Learning to be responsible for their own items is a lifelong skill that begins in kindergarten. To make this possible in my classroom, I need your help. Please help Camp Kinder become the classroom I have dreamed it could be.
