The creation of anchor charts with students is a great way to allow students to take ownership of the standards learned in the classroom. These charts can then be displayed in the classroom as visual cues for students who need frequent reminders. The mailbox system is a great way for students to build responsibility by having a designated place that they must place classroom on a daily basis. Setting routines in the classroom is important for my students, as they need to know what is expected on a daily basis. Having a specific location in place for whole group instruction through the use of a chart paper easel would be a great addition to our daily routine.
