The materials will make a difference in my students learning because I will be able to individualize instruction based on their needs. By using a variety of books at different reading levels, I will help my students to be confident as they learn to read. They get bored with seeing the same books and would love to explore new books. I love seeing their faces light up as they learn new vocabulary and new high frequency words which will help with their fluency as they master each reading level. With a variety of books, they will be able to choose which book they want which will motivate them on their journey to learning how to read. The scissors will be used during station rotation as students build their fine motor skills. The easel will be used during small group at my teacher table to show students the concept or lesson we are working on.
