These materials would give my students a place in the speech room that is their own to work on their receptive and expressive language. Most of my students need a structured setting to attend to tasks and make meaningful improvements that they can take pride in. The rainbow shaped table with chairs gives me access to each student in a small group setting and allows me to give them that one:one attention that they crave! In addition, having a space that is accessible for evaluations needed as they transition from the special needs preschool to kindergarten; it is important that they have a space to sit and attend. This would prevent from outside distractions causing them to perform poorly and be over identified by assessments, which would lead to placement in a special needs kindergarten when it is not necessary.
