Having an outdoor cart will greatly add to the environment outside. We will be able to have materials outside to help enhance the different developmental areas, while still exploring nature. We would love to incorporate things like books, writing materials, outdoor discovery materials and instruments. The rolling cart will allow us to easily take the materials outside with us and then back inside for safekeeping when it is time to return back to our classroom. The baskets that come with the cart will allow us to keep the materials labeled and organized. This will allow the children to develop independence and self help skills. The outdoor cart will make a valuable addition to our outdoor exploration!
