The materials requested will help my students spread out and learn where they feel most comfortable - all items already have a home, we just need help getting the items to our classroom! The mats (dog beds) and crates will help create some flexible seating options that will be used along with the clipboards and caddies. My students LOVE that learning stations are positioned all around our room, and having the flexibility with the seating and the tools with the clipboards and caddies will help them move and learn with ease throughout the day. Having a rug like a Flagship carpet will create an inviting space to gather as a community to start our day, to end our day, and at various times throughout the day when we come together as a whole group for reading, calendar, literacy building and math skill development. This space will get a LOT of use!
