Students in my classroom are eager to read but don't always have access to quality literature. I would love to have class sets of books so that our class can read books together. Reading books together provides opportunities for authentic discussions and valuable lessons. Students are able to read at their own pace and take it home if they want to. I want to instill in my students a true love of reading. The more opportunities that my students have to interact with their own book, the more likely it will be for them to develop a passion for reading. My goal is to have my students make reading a part of their lives forever.

About my class
