This year I have many advanced readers who struggle to find a book at their interest level let alone their reading level. I am asking for seventy-eight individual titles and boxed sets of My Weird School (10 Bk Set), two sets of the Dork Diaries Collection, and a set of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books (10 Books). With these high interest books my students will want to read everyday and it won't feel like work to them. My students are determined to excel as readers and these books will be their key to their literacy success. Some of the books in this project are based on excerpts from our curriculum that the students are reading and want to read more about. Overall, my students are high readers but struggle at reading because they can't find a book at their interest level.
