Using our new books, we will be able to focus on these reading standards for kindergarten, RL.K.1 With prompting and support, ask and answer questions about key details in a text; RL.K.3 With prompting and support, identify characters, settings, and major events in a story; RI.K.5 Identify the front cover, back cover, and title page of a book. The new headphones will help us participate in ST math with fewer distractions. Standards currently covered in our math program are K.CC.A.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence and K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities: connect counting to cardinality.
