Our classroom library is small and outdated. We are hoping for a new set of fiction books to add to our collection so we can explore our world from the safety of our classroom! These books will be used for students to access during free reading periods, as mentor texts for me, the teacher, to model exemplary work, and in a variety of reading and cross curricular units. Research shows that students who are exposed to a variety of fiction work have the ability to make connections more quickly, have a better imagination, are more focused, and recognize social cues more accurately. A nice set of fiction books can help us improve in all academic areas while taking us on countless adventures! Help us read our way to success!
