Making sure students are comfortable is important in motivating them. Flexible seating allows for this. Students are able to make choices in their seating to best help them with learning. Every student is comfortable in different areas, and I want to have multiple options available for them. I have noticed when I give students options, they are are more engaged in learning and less disruptive of others. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The table will allow areas for students to sit together and work collaboratively. The swivel chairs are beneficial for some of those ADHD students; they can spin around a little to get the wiggles out. The bands will help students who want to sit in traditional desks to get the wiggles out as well. The comfy floor seats and rug will allow for additional comfortable floor seating options. They are lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. I hope these items will help my classroom and give the students options to sit so they can learn best.
