Given the range of English language proficiency in my class, I creatively seek ways to get material that's appropriate for my students' varying reading levels. In funding this project you will help me print material and images that will support my students' learning. I will be able to print articles at their reading level, find images to support target vocabulary learning and print their final projects too. We will be able to make picture collages, informational posters and other creative colorful projects that will help them learn different colors and textures while using the English language. Having the color printer will make student created work and our classroom more bright and powerful. Building vocabulary is a class focus of ours. In addition to the colored ink that will support word walls and vocabulary activities, the multilevel books will undoubtedly enhance my students' learning. These Word Family Readers will provide my learners with texts to that will support their reading and acquiring of the necessary vocabulary to succeed in and out of school. In having these texts my students will be able to practice fluency and demonstrate reading comprehension in their second (and sometimes third) language. Please consider donating to this project so that my students have the resources that will invite them to learn and practice together in a colorful space!
