As you can see from the picture I posted of our lonely classroom bookshelf, my students desperately need books. These books will enhance the classroom library that I am striving to create. I want my classroom library to be a place that my students really enjoy. I want books that pique their interest and inspire them to want to read more independently. All of these books have been chosen with my students and our curriculum in mind. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow us to read in a whole group setting, as well as, independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. Please help is fill our lonely classroom bookshelf. My students will be so thankful to have books in our own classroom library.
