My students would greatly benefit from the Magna Tiles and Space Saver Table. It is evident that Pre-kindergarten students are sponges and these hands on materials will help them enhance their motor skills, cognitive development, interest and motivation to learn. The Magna Tiles and Table will be a "hands on Math Center" where each of my students can visit daily! They will use the Magna tiles to explore geometrical shapes, colors, magnets, building structures and most importantly, build their love for exploring! Because most of my students come from low income families, it is highly unlikely that they have access to this type of learning materials. This project will enable students to learn and express learning in ways that support their success.
