Making sure my students are comfortable throughout the day in my classroom plays a huge role in their motivation. Having the opportunity to provide students with choices for seating during instruction and independent work time would be amazing! The seats that I have picked out will allow my students that need to wiggle more throughout the day stay engaged and focused. This will help to avoid disruptive behaviors in my classroom while keeping them focused during instruction. Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work. Children need to be able to move and these wobble stools will allow them to wiggle and wobble which will in turn keep them alert and focused throughout the day. I have an amazing group of kids this year and I want to make sure I can bring as much success to their 3rd grade year as possible!
