Having a laptop for the students to use to look up book locations will help them expand their book selection. Not knowing a location makes them go to the same books over and over and not explore other areas. They can use the laptop for research during enrichment with me. We do book reports to work on their writing skills and using the laptop adds new and exciting things for them to learn including writing and graphics. This will teach them how important technology is in the world around us. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!

About my class
