In our journey down to Philadelphia, my students will have the opportunity to explore, interact, and discover the events and people that shaped our nation's history. Historic Philadelphia offers an educational, interactive, walking-tour style program where students play a part in bringing the past to life in the places where history was made. In this trip, students will have the opportunity to take a stroll through the Betsy Ross House and the Arch Street Meeting House where they will be learning about the legendary flag maker and about values and practices that shaped early Philadelphia. Through this experience, my girls will make memories learning about the founding of their nation and enjoying the scenes of Philadelphia.
