My students will be using K'nex education kits to design, build and test bridge structures that they have researched online. Students will collaborate and problem solve in order to construct their own bridge that will support a 2 to 3 pound object. Hands on, three dimensional activities encourage reading comprehension skills, generate creativity and support social emotional growth. K'nex Education allows students to build prototype bridges . This creates a foundation and background knowledge on which to develop their own unique designs. Collaborating with ESL students through STEM activities provides content based language development and social opportunities. Please help fund this amazing opportunity for our students!
