Technology is everywhere! So why not use it to benefit the learning process? In my classroom, technology is used in addition to the more traditional forms of learning. During reading and math times, students are invited on a rotating basis to practice new skills in both reading and math using technology. The use of technology is a welcome break for them during our day and it is something they look forward to! This avenue of learning provides them with the additional practice they need to successfully master the skills being taught in a more exciting way. Technology allows for differentiation as the students can pick their appropriate level. It also allows for small group learning to take place in a quieter environment.
