Students at our school will use these art supplies and benefit from them as they explore and create beautiful art projects. The learning goals for my students include applying creative and critical thinking skills to artistic expression and creating art using a variety of tools, materials, and processes safely. With the Reeves oil pastels, students will work on nature sketches of animals and plants, landscapes, and still lifes. With the watercolor palettes we have at school and the watercolor paper requested in this project, students will design unique koi fish and other watercolor projects. With the ceramics tools, students will learn beginning ceramics skills to create fish and animals. All of these lessons support student creativity and critical thinking skills. My visual arts lessons also integrate NGSS (national science standards) and the National Common Core Visual Arts Standards. With the help of donors, like yourselves, students at our school will have more opportunities to think, create, discover their personal interests in art and use a variety of art materials. Our school's budget for art supplies is limited. Thank you for taking the time to make a difference in our community. The students, staff, and families appreciate your help.
