New desks would be such a rewarding addition to our classroom. Over half of my students are from low-income backgrounds. As of now, my babies are sitting in desks that have been in outdoor storage for years. This storage is opened to rain, mildew, insects, etc. Majority of the desks are not age/size appropriate for my students with little space to put their things. With the help of your donation of a new desk, my students will feel encouraged to do their absolute best knowing that they are in a comfortable environment where they are able to fully focus on their academics. My students will no longer complain about how bad their legs hurt or how much the small chairs affect them when they are sitting in them for too long. Having a new desk may also cut down on the many different illnesses. Will you please help our classroom?
