At Rancho High School, we strive to create activities that get the most participation out of our students. Basketball and soccer in boys physical education class are two sports that our students enjoy the most. These two sports help build teamwork and leadership in our classes. Having more basketball and soccer balls will help me as a teacher create a successful unit because students will be able to learn the passing, shooting, and rules of the game in drills. Most of the time, due to the lack of equipment I am unable to create lessons where students get as many attempts because of the lack of equipment. By adding these soccer and basketball I will be able to be more creative with planning.
