Students are always experiencing music in new ways during class. Classes work hard to sing, play and perform on instruments, as well as compose and improvise. A large assortment of classroom instruments will give each student the access to a quality instrumental experience every class period. This affords each of them the opportunity to feel the joy associated with creating and performing their own music. One of the purest joys of music-making is that it can be shared by students/people of all abilities. Making music is a beautiful way to unify all students. Watching the eyes of a student light up when it is their turn to play an instrument is magical! When this project is fully funded, we won't have to wait up to two weeks to make that magic happen for each student. This project will allow my students to have that magical feeling all year long!
