We would like to add benches and planters which will provide a ecstatically pleasing place to write and reflect as we watch nature around us. My students have been working on creating a space outside where we can take care of birds and share the enjoyment with the whole school. We visit our bird area daily to write and replentish bird food. The excitement of having an area right outside our school where we can learn about birds and experience nature has been phenomenal! We are seeing others students visit and enjoy the area. When we connect deeply with what is right outside our door, the desire to learn about and protect the environment grows.

About my class
