My Project Over the last 21 years, I have found that students who feel safe and comfortable in their classrooms are willing to take chances in their learning and push themselves just a little bit farther each day. My reading center will provide a positive, safe and comfortable second home atmosphere where students are willing to dive into a new book they have never tried to read before. A colorful rug and colorful flex seating will be arranged to invite students to “Search” for their perfect book and “Discover” why reading is so magical. All books in my library are leveled so that each student can find that perfect book that matches their independent reading ability as well as a book that challenges them with their instructional reading skills to “Learn”.
