Every child wants to go to the class library and be able to find a book that is not just interesting but at their reading level. The I can read books cover common core standards at the students reading level. The books chosen are leveled at 2nd grade. They cover subjects that this age level are interested in as well are written at their ability to understand the material. Moving grade levels so far apart, sadly my class library is mostly geared at the higher readers. My medium to low readers struggle finding a book that they can read independently.
