Students in my classroom are required to use Chromebooks on a daily basis with their reading, writing and math assignments. All students have an Accelerated Reader goal to hit by the end of the year. Having more Chromebooks would help my students take tests and earn AR points more often. For example, students are required to create their own Women’s History Month powerpoint presentation and present it to the classroom. They are also required to type their final drafts, in writing, on a regular basis. My students regularly use xtramath.org to practice their basic math facts. Having four additional Chromebooks would make it much easier to rotate through all of my students each day. If my students have more time on a Chromebook while working on a project, I know that the quality of their work will improve dramatically.
