This Promethean Board will help to replace a Smartboard, which I will no longer have access to. My students have limited experiences, vocabularies, etc. I can literally use this technology to show them the world that we are reading or writing about...because, otherwise, they will have no concept. Along with helping them to think critically and understand figurative language, they can be escorted into virtual atmospheres where they don't have to pay for transportation or have adequate clothing if it is cold. They can truly be right in the classroom and right in another world, all at the same time.
