My students are amazing. So many of our students have the ability to express their creativity and identity through art. Unfortunately, for the past 8 years we have not had the budget to have an art teacher/ program at our school. The students have the passion and raw skill, but lack the resources and guidance to explore their potential. For the upcoming school year I will be teaching one section of Art with the hope of providing an experience that will foster and appreciate the talent of our students. I feel that this will be a rewarding and successful experience, however, I need supplies like acrylic paint, brushes, palettes, colored pencils, markers, and crayons to make it happen.
