The items listed will be used to help train student athletes and other students in the school community. The training equipment such as jump ropes, hurdles and agility ladders will be used throughout the school year for preseason and postseason workouts as well as physical education classes. The goggles, defensive mannequin and blocking pads will mainly be used in basketball practices to help the student-athletes enhance their skills. The coaching boards will be utilized during basketball games by the coaches to give the student-athletes a visual of game strategies. All of the equipment will be essential in the strength, conditioning and training of the students in order to help them develop. The goal is for our student-athletes to enjoy exercising and be well-conditioned in order to become physically fit and live a healthier lifestyle. I want to tackle the issue of obesity and help reduce other health risk factors. In the future, I plan to implement a nutrition curriculum that emphasizes healthy eating. The students of our campus will benefit tremendously from the contributions for years to come.
