This water and sand table will be beneficial for my students because it develops math and science skills through critical thinking (will it sink or float, measuring, greater than less than or equivalent). Students will also develop social and emotional skills through collaboration with other students and it will reduce energy levels for those overexcited by providing a way to expend energy through sand and water manipulation. My students love learning with hands-on activities. This project will foster physical development by practicing hand-eye coordination and fine/gross motor skills. I am hoping to inspire and foster the love of learning in lifelong learners.

About my class
