This project will reach student athletes as well as students in my PE class. The basketballs will replace those balls on our rack that continously have to have air pumped into them. This dribbling goggles will better their basic dribbling skills. My athletes live in a high poverty, rural area; over two thirds of our school is on free or reduced lunch vouchers. Most of our equipment is paid for thru fundraising, in a school of over 1000 students, our sponsors are already giving as much support as they can, but funding is still tight. My girls would be grateful to have some new balls and dribbling goggles to help them become more efficient basketball players.
