I am pleased to say that I teach a charming bunch of 3rd-5th grade students. My classroom is a Special Education Special Day Class. Students in my classroom are in a self-contained classroom where they participate daily in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Social Skills. Each student in my class benefits from specialized academic instruction due to their mild- moderate disabilities.Our school is a culturally diverse campus and where some families are economically disadvantaged. The students in my classroom greatly benefit from various modalities of instruction.
