This project is to help get instruments into the hands of our marvelous musicians. With a classroom set of Ukuleles students will strum and sing music from the American Folk Song Collection as well as music from diverse communities around the world. Students will be brought closer together as a community of musicians by singing and playing songs together. Music literacy is not the only thing that can be learned by playing an instrument. Children learn the importance of perseverance, goal setting and steady practice while achieving joyful music making!

About my class
