Our classroom will use this for small group work and reading comprehension. These magazines bring the real world into our classroom. It allows us to make text to self, text to text, and text to world connections. Our students will learn text features- labels, diagrams, pictures. Our students will use the Legos as manipulatives in math to count on when adding or subtracting. As well as for brain breaks while learning. These Legos will help bring a hands on learning experience to our classroom.
