Students in this club are given a way to relax and relieve the stress of the normal rigorous environment that comes with attending a nationally ranked high school. These are the basic supplies that my club needs in order to run efficiently as possible. The products in this project will benefit my students by giving them a way to interact socially, while also developing writing, art, and mathematics skills. This is a club that accepts all students no matter their skill level. This club is completely student run, and as the advisor I just try to make sure they have enough materials to achieve their goals. The items chosen for this project: dry erase game mats to play on, mini figures, and dice are essential items when playing dungeons and dragons. Currently there are 6 active groups playing and 2 more groups are forming. These materials are the starter items necessary for a game to take place. The game mat is the surface in which the game plays out, a blank canvas is turned into a dungeon, a graveyard, a field, a castle, or whatever a player can imagine. The dice sets are crucial to gameplay since they are used to determine outcomes with some element of random. The miniatures act as the pieces players use during their adventure.
