Although I am still new to the teaching world, it has been my main goal to incorporate flexible seating in my classroom. I believe that flexible seating with this floor table, round table and stools will give students a sense of being in charge of their learning and can provide opportunity for problem solving (which I believe to unfortunately be a dying skill) by giving them the option to choose a just right spot. A majority of my students come from financially unstable homes. They have become accustomed to making due with what they have and not complaining. I think providing them with different seating options will give them a sense of comfort and create an area more conducive to learning.
