My students tend to enjoy working on whiteboards but get nervous when they are asked to come to the front and share their work - even when they're correct! Mobile whiteboards provide a great place for students to showcase their thinking, work, and conclusions to their group members and the whole class. It will also make sharing their thinking and work more accessible and less intimidating, as they will be able to share from near their table instead of the front of the room. I believe that mobile whiteboards will improve their communication skills in mathematics as well as their confidence in their mathematical thinking and abilities.
