The carpet we are requesting will be a wonderful addition to our alcove area. Each student will feel a space is set aside for her or him personally with the colored square sections. They will always know where to go when it's time for calendar math and teacher read aloud time eliminating daily stress for my young students. Individual learning zones can make shy students feel more comfortable allowing them to participate in our lessons. This will also give active students personal space without disturbing others around them. Along with this, it will be much more comfortable for their little bodies to sit on a carpet than on the concrete floor.
