My students are in need of a classroom library with engaging literature in both Spanish and English at various reading levels. Having a classroom library stocked with fiction, nonfiction, and informational bilingual books will give my students access to riveting stories and important history that will enhance their learning across curriculums. It is so important to have this bilingual classroom library because our school currently does not have the funds to purchase bilingual books for our campus library. Providing students with books both in their native language and English will give them a sense of pride and ownership in their reading and learning.
