Having laptops in the classroom will give all students the necessary experiences with technology. Having experiences with laptops will give my students a better change of securing employment when they leave school. The more real world experiences I can provide, the better chance my students have of being gainfully employed as adults. Students with disabilities deserve the same experiences as student who do not have disabilities. As stated previously, many of my students live in households with low incomes. These students are at a disadvantage to begin with because of their disabilities. When they are not provided with the same classroom equipment, it makes the gap between them and their non disabled peers even greater. I have confidence that I can make a difference in the lives of my students by having laptops in my classroom.
