Scholastic Math magazine uses real-world data to teach math skills. This magazine will be used with my Response to Intervention classes. We will use the magazine to spark interest by using current events and celebrity interviews. The magazine will help struggling students by building confidence with motivating practice problems. The magazine will engage students with math features on topics they care about. Scholastic Math prepares students for the real world with everyday math applications. Scholastic Math uses Math Nonfiction with expert interviews and real world data. It provides practice problems to motivate students to apply essential math skills. Students experience math as a relevant part of their daily lives by exploring the real-world math applications behind current events and other high-interest topics.
