The use of desktop computers is a daily activity in my classroom, especially in reading. We would love to add another technology component to the daily schedule by obtaining IPads for the use at a center during the core subject times. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' reading (phonics, phonemic awareness)skills, math skills, coding, science and social studies skills .IPads will help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. By having IPads, students will be able to focus on increasing their learning in the four major content areas! In addition, their interactions with updated technology will increase their literacy and math skills as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
