I strive to ensure that every student is given the best opportunity possible to flourish in his or her educational endeavors. Differentiated instruction promotes engagement in the learning process, which allows students to develop a broader understanding of the concepts they are confronting and how they apply what they have learned in a practical real-world context. All of my lessons provide a hands on project-based method of instruction that is tailored to the needs expressed in the students’ IEPs. It is my goal to make the material that is being taught relevant to the lives of my students, and to be able to differentiate this material in such a way that actively engages each student in the learning process. This will allow me to effectively place my students on the correct reading levels as well as integrate history and literature. The table and easel are needed to help facilitate small group instruction. The headphones will be instrumental for individualized learning. The future of the world has always rested on the shoulders of our children, and the responsibility for preparing them for the challenges they will face rests solely on ours. These supplies will help them have a nice clean environment to learn in. The rooms aren't always cleaned, so they cleaning supplies are a needed to provide an environment that is clean and ready for these kids to learn. The easel pads are needed for process charts so they can review topics they previously learned.
